Pause and Reflect
Human or Human Resource?
Are you just a number on a balance sheet?
Are you just a data point on someone’s LinkedIn scroll?
AI has already been empowering Human Resources
The object that AI system is analyzing is HUMAN.
When I crafted an AI product strategy for HR 7 years ago
Our Mission was:
To augment humans, not to replace them.
Let AI serve us, not the other way around.
Machines never stop listening
Data Scientists never stop analyzing
We design AI system for Augmented Listening
We listen to the emotions behind the words
and the intentions behind those emotions
as well as unconscious biases
We ask:
Why these words?
What’s being left unsaid?
This helps us decode people’s sentiment and engagement,
such that HR can make empathetic, data-driven decisions.
“Machines understand us better than ourselves nowadays.”
“Yet we insist on being trapped in our own information and belief cocoon.”
“When surface level cognitive tasks can be easily handled by AI in the near future, where is human’s position?”

Who is really in charge as AI-driven tools influence more of our lives?
Backstory: As a first-gen immigrant ingrained with an achievement mindset, I worked my way through Stanford and rode the tides of AI/Data booming in the past 20+ years in Silicon Valley’s tech visionaries. Yet, working at the backend of social media, I wonder: Are people merely digitized data points on LinkedIn and Facebook? Are there alternatives besides this “achieving mindset”?
Transitions: During 2018-2019, when I orchestrated an AI-powered HR SaaS Product featuring NLP/deep learning to detect employees' emotions and intentions, I realized I had a hard time hearing my own emotions, which were deeply buried and hidden. Are it the benefits and/or perils that technology brings to us?
Plunge: Pandemic is a pivotal period of time to listen to the silence during my meditation and to experience global grief. When I listened beyond inner dialogue, beyond inner voices of resistance, beyond evaluating, judging, critiquing, and emotional responding, a vast open space emerged. It turns out to be a significant personal transformation, which leads me to coaching: exquisite art of listening - the fundamental building block of human connection.
Today: I have become ICF ICF-certified coach to bring this privileged benefit of personal transformation, typically only accessible for senior executives, to everyone, especially for change makers and entrepreneurs. With the advent of AI breakthroughs since 2023, which brings both inspiration and confusion, I would like to assure people that AI will make us more uniquely human than ever. That untapped human potential will turn everyone into a creator and propel next-gen AI innovators to create the future in humans’ terms and benefit humans.
Mission: Our mission is to elevate and augment human potential to humanize technology in this age of human-machine togetherness. I support change makers and founders to connect to their deepest core/intention/power, to develop awareness of how their intentions/thoughts/emotions create new reality, to build enduring trust in key relationships, to navigate change, and maintain sustained excellence.
